I'm going to try my hardest to not make this blog about food.

This post, however, is an exception.

When I went to the Philippines in December last year, my aunt took me to a 'high end' market place in the city of Makati. They had the usual Filipino dishes there but it was cleanly prepared. So many delicious dishes! One stall, in particular caught my attention.

They were offering a burger challenge: finish one massive burger under 20 minutes and the burger is free (otherwise it'd cost ~400 pesos... roughly AU$10). I was excited to take on this challenge and my aunt and her boyfriend believed in me, so I thought that it was going to be a given that I'd walk away with a full stomach, greater pride and the money still in my wallet.
